Tools of the trade

Detail: Rear heel reinforcement prolongs the life cycle of the shoe
Handmade shoes, often one-off commissions, require extensive handcraft skills alongside the practice of measuring feet and a broad working knowledge of materials. Within this field, footwear is made for individual fit, with close attention to detail and intended to last for many years.
Heels planed from blonde beech wood, are all hand stained and sealed with water based varnish. The leather top piece features a repairable veg tanned leather top piece to prolong the life cycle of the shoe.
